These pliers are Japanese stock, this means they have the model code MVA-200N instead of MVA-200 or WATMVA200. In our experience, the Japanese stock MVA-200N are much smoother out of the box, which means the other models are likely to be B-Stock

These ground breaking pliers made by Marvel are already the plier of choice for many Australian Electricians. These pliers popularised the "cross cut" and for good reason, they have an incredible cutting capacity and the cross hatched surface makes gripping objects easy. These pliers are made from drop-forged carbon steel, ensuring they will stay sharp for longer and also come with a handy built-in terminal crimper. The MVA-200N are a tried and tested favourite for Australian electricians and are a safe bet for any new apprentices buying their first set of pliers or for anyone just wanting to try out something different.
