Hioki 3280-70F AC Clamp Meter with Flexible Current Sensor

The Hioki 3280-70F is a compact AC clamp meter kit designed for reliable current measurement on standard 50/60 Hz AC systems. It pairs Hioki’s slim clamp meter, small enough to fit into a pocket, with the CT6280 flexible current sensor, making it ideal for measuring current on large conductors, bundled cables, or crowded switchboards, where a conventional clamp won’t fit.

The meter measures AC current up to 1000 A, with the flexible sensor extending the range up to 4199 A. It also supports AC/DC voltage measurement up to 600 V, resistance measurement, continuity with buzzer, and data hold, covering the most common checks required for electrical installation and maintenance work.

Built to Hioki’s industrial standards, the unit is drop-resistant (1 m), operates across a wide temperature range of -25 °C to 65 °C, and runs for extended periods on a single CR2032 lithium battery, making it a practical everyday tool on site.

Important Note

This meter uses a mean-responding measurement method calibrated for RMS on sinusoidal waveforms. It is best suited to standard mains power applications and is not intended for heavily distorted or non-sinusoidal signals such as inverter outputs or variable-frequency drives.
